Greetings and peace to you all. I hope this newsletter happily informs and shares relevant updates of our school. Looking ahead to another wonderful year of learning

As we continue planning for the upcoming school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued trust and partnership. This has been a meaningful and rewarding year for our students. We have seen them grow through strong academic learning, enriching travel experiences across China that deepen their interests and understanding, and many warm community gatherings where families have come together throughout the year.

At the heart of these experiences are our outstanding teachers, who work every day to build caring relationships with students and create learning opportunities that support both academic achievement and character development.

As part of our continued commitment to providing a world-class, whole-child education, the school will keep prioritizing our investments in excellent teachers, high-quality learning materials, classroom resources and professional development for our teachers. These investments help ensure that our students continue to learn and grow in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Through our continued integration with LifePlus and strong collaboration across departments, we have been able to further strengthen the quality and support of our programs. At the same time, we are pleased to share that tuition for the coming school year will remain unchanged. Our Early Bird Discount Tuition option, as well as transportation, lunch and the registration deposit (now called the tuition deposit), will also remain the same.

Later this week, you will receive an email and printed materials sent home with your child with information on how to confirm your family’s details for the next academic year.

Thank you once again for your continued partnership and support. It is a privilege to work together with you in supporting the growth and success of every student at the International School of Qingdao.

A note about Student-Led Conferences after Spring Break

Dear Parents,

As we look ahead to the return from Spring Break (April 6-10), I want to highlight an important moment in our school year. Student-Led Conferences will take place on April 13 and 14, and we ask for 100% family participation.

These conferences are a meaningful opportunity for students to reflect on their learning, share their growth, and discuss goals for the remainder of the year. Your presence shows students that their effort and progress matter.

Please note that there will be no regular classes on Monday and Tuesday, April 13 or 14, so that families can attend conferences. Transportation and school will return to a normal schedule on Wednesday, April 15.

We appreciate your partnership in making these conferences an important moment for every student.

May Day Holiday starts April 30

As your family plans for the Spring Break, you can also start planning ahead for the our national May Day holiday at the end of April.

On Thursday and Friday, April 30 and May 1, school will be closed for the holiday. On Monday, May 4 school resume as usual.
