Four steps of enrollment

Step 1

Submission

We have a rolling admissions policy and accept applications for new students throughout the year. First, please complete the application form below.

Step 2

Paperwork

We’ll ask to see supporting documents for both you as applicant, and your child. These might include copies of your passport and visa/residence permit; a copy of your child’s immunization record; and previous school record/transcripts.

Step 3

Assessment

We get to know every student before enrollment with an interview led by one of our Teaching + Learning Principals. Students whose native language is not English is also assessed with age-appropriate aptitudes during their admissions assessment. Our admissions office will book tests in for your child as needed.

Step 4

Decision

Once the application process is complete, we’ll notify you within one week about our decision to accept your application, decline it, or to place your child’s name in our waiting pool. If your child is accepted, we’ll ask you to pay the enrollment deposit and to get ready to start school.

Looking to re-enroll?

Step 1

Calculate fees

Re-enrollment (¥3,000) and Early Bird discounted tuition fees are due May 15. Other tuition payment plans and fees are due on July 15.

Please calculate your child’s tuition and fees for the year, referring to the School fees document in the re-enrollment packet.

Step 2

Make payment

Wire your total calculated payment to International School of Qingdao’s bank account. Our account information can be found on the School fees document inside your re-enrollment packet. Please include the following reference with your payment:

  • Student’s full name (last name, given name)
  • Student’s grade for the upcoming academic year
Step 3

Let us know

Once you’ve made your payment to our account, please email to let us know at finance@isqchina.com. Please include your transfer receipt (scanned or photographed) and the following information in your email, so we can cross-check it with our account:

  • Student’s full name (last name, given name)
  • Student’s grade for the upcoming academic year

Please note.

Students entering Foundations must turn 3 by September 30 of the year they enroll. Students entering Junior Kindergarten must turn 4 by September 30 of the year they enroll. Students entering Kindergarten must turn 5 by September 30 of the year they enroll.
