Returning families: Please remember the 3,000 RMB registration fee is due by May 15 to guarantee your child’s placement. Pay the full annual tuition by this date to enjoy a 3% Early Bird discount. Payment details here.

Parent survey reminder–Open until Friday, April 25
Your voice plays an important role in helping us grow and improve. Please take a few minutes to complete the annual Parent Survey by Friday, April 25. Your feedback on academics, safety, communication and more helps shape the future of International School of Qingdao.

The survey includes Korean translations for convenience. However, please be aware that Korean characters may not display correctly for us when typed into the response fields. For open-ended questions, please use a translation app to convert your responses into English before submitting.

Staffing Update
Please join us in welcoming Melody Lee, ISQ’s new Learning Support Coordinator for 2025–2026! Melody holds a bachelor’s degree in education (child, youth, and family studies) and is certified in special education. She will work part-time next year to support students with learning needs across all grades. Welcome, Melody!
Facility Update
A huge thank you to all ISQ staff for maintaining our campus as a safe, welcoming environment! Special recognition to Wes and the MAC team for their stylish, functional upgrades to the main lobby and 3G café.
Additional updates:
- Facility Audit (Late April): LifePlus will conduct an audit to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- IT Bandwidth: Plans are underway to increase bandwidth more regularly to enhance daily operations (currently prioritized for MAP/AP testing).
- Playground Upgrade: After months of planning, the ECC/ES outdoor playground flooring will be fully upgraded this summer, ensuring a safer, modern space for the new school year. We thank the leadership and operational teams along with the PTO for support.
