What a fantastic week coming up. Let’s celebrate China as we near Chinese New Year. There are many wonderful events during the school day for all your child, from Chinese Tea, Mugwort Hammer, to Hairpin + Brooch and traditional sports and activities. So much to learn and enjoy. Thank you to all our Chinese department for all the leadership and coordination, as well as to many teachers and community liaisons for your contributions.

Did you know? Dr. James Riggins, one of our outstanding secondary school teachers, achieved his Doctorate degree in the field of Intercultural Studies from Biola University, California, USA. His expertise is in cross-cultural belonging (how to connect and belong while living among diversity). Amazing!
Did you also know? Dr. John Usher, another outstanding secondary school teacher and badminton coach, achieved his Doctorate degree in the field of philosophy and history from the University of Birmingham, UK. Dr. Usher is an Honorary Fellow at the University of Birmingham, UK, as well. Wow!
