Christmas Compassion Day at International School of Qingdao

Dear Parents,

You are warmly invited to celebrate Christmas together with us on December 18.

Please note that December 18 will be a half day for all students, including ECC and Elementary. This aligns with our usual Secondary schedule during the last week of the semester and we’re extending it down to ECC and Elementary.

What families can do before December 18...

1. Join the Christmas Photo Competition

Participate in our photo competition (and enter to win a Instamax camera!)
Share a photo that shows compassion, Christmas or a favorite photo of 2025. Post it on your social media using the hashtags #Compassion or #Christmas or #2025 (depending on the category) together with #Qingdao #China #LifePlus.

To enter the drawing for the best photo and the most liked photo in each category, follow our official WeChat account and send us a screenshot of your post. The deadline for photo submissions is December 9.

2. RSVP to attend Christmas Compassion Day

Join us on campus for the morning celebration (09:00 to 11:30).

Our Christmas Compassion Day on December 18 will include live music, crafts, games, art exhibitions and more.

3. Apply for a Christmas Market table

Are you interested in running a booth at the event?

Families can register for a free table to sell crafts, food or second-hand items. You are welcome to pair up with other families too.

Tables are free to use and we encourage donating a portion of sales to Tongxin Charity.
