亲爱的家长，在规划新学年之际，衷心感谢您一直以来的信任与支持。

我们始终致力于为学生提供优质的教育，这意味着我们会持续投资于优秀的教师、海外学习材料、课堂资源和专业发展—这些要素共同塑造了学生每日的学习环境。鉴于这些关键领域成本的增长，新学年的学费将有所调整。小学至高中学费将上涨约 1.5%（增加 3,100–3,300 元），而 ECC 学费将上调 5,000 元，以确保项目的可持续发展，同时维持收支平衡。

早鸟学费折扣调整

学校赞助活动与旅行费用调整

学校赞助活动与旅行费用调整
我们将调整自选课外活动和旅行费用的分担方式。原有的固定收费模式将改为 50/50 费用分摊模式，这一调整将为家庭提供更大的灵活性，同时确保学校资源能够更加有效地支持所有学生。

• 学校全额承担：必须参加的共同课程学校活动（如初高中春季旅行、毕业生离校研讨会及其他必修校内旅行）将继续由学校全额承担。
• 学校与家庭各承担 50%：可选的校内活动和课外旅行（如体育比赛、VEX 机器人比赛、模拟联合国会议等），费用将由学校和参与学生家庭各承担 50%。
• 家庭全额承担：非学校组织的活动（即学校不赞助的活动）仍将由参与学生家庭 全额承担。

随着新学年的规划推进，您的孩子的学籍已经自动续订，无需额外操作，所有学生默认自动加入下一学年的班级。为确保学校能够更好地为您的孩子提供支持，请您抽出几分钟时间，在 3 月 28 日（周五）前 通过 [PowerSchool] 确认您的家庭信息。

Well done ISQ Math Students!

This past January 2025, we had five students participate in the AMC 8 (American Mathematics Competition 8) in Qingdao, and we did very well! AMC, or American Mathematics Competitions, is a series of mathematics competitions organized by the Mathematical Association of America.

The competitions are designed to stimulate interest in mathematics among students and to help identify talented young mathematicians. Congratulations!

Welcoming a new teacher to our team

Let’s give a warm welcome to the Lenehan family as they join International School of Qingdao!

Byron Lenehan brings 12 years of teaching experience and holds a Bachelor of Theatre Studies and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning. He joins our Secondary Department, and we’re excited for the impact he will have in our classrooms and community.

We’re also delighted to welcome his wife, Jessica, and their child, Leo. When you see the Lenehans on campus, take a moment to extend the warm, spirited welcome that makes our school community so special!
