Greetings and peace to you all. I hope this newsletter happily informs and shares relevant updates of our school. A day of creativity with Kev Payne!
Last Friday, our ECC and Elementary students enjoyed an unforgettable day with British author and illustrator Kev Payne! From storytelling and ukulele sing-alongs to puppet shows inspired by his books Mole Wants a Hat and Gross & Ghastly, students discovered how fun—and possible—it is to become writers and creators.
ECC & Grade 1: Rhymes, songs, and giggles filled their sessions.
Grades 2-3: Turned fascinating facts into poetry and creative writing.
Grades 4-5: Learned to write, illustrate, and "publish" a book in a day!
A huge thank you to Ms. Angel, our librarian, for organizing this inspiring visit. Kev’s energy and imagination reminded us of all that storytelling is for everyone—no matter your age or language level. Let’s keep creating!
