For the love of reading-LifePlus Kids Read

We were honored to host the very first LifePlus Kids Read at the International School of Qingdao, a student-led reading competition celebrating our middle school book lovers. Held in our school library, the event welcomed two teams from Qingdao, one from Tianjin, and one from Wuhan who joined us online. Over the course of the day, students worked in teams to answer questions based on a shared reading list of 60 books they had studied over the past few months.

Congratulations to the Tianjin team for earning first place, and to our Qingdao teams for taking second and third. While the competition was exciting, the day was just as much about connecting with peers, sharing a love for reading and encouraging habits that last far beyond the classroom. Thanks to our amazing librarian, Ms. Angel Luan, we’re proud to have hosted such a thoughtful and inspiring event, and we look forward to watching this new tradition grow.
