Teachers get ready for school

Our teachers have returned to campus! After the summer break, teachers are eager to get back to work and reconnect with colleagues as we prepare for students to join us on campus on August 16. Our teachers have been busy this week spending time in professional development, organizing classrooms and planning lessons for the upcoming year. 

Spending a week on campus before students arrive gives our staff the opportunity to discuss best practices with other teachers, to collaborate effectively and to build meaningful relationships. Just as our students will develop divisional and grade level charters in the coming weeks, our staff discussed how they want to feel this year and drafted a staff charter to guide our interactions with one another. We are committed to students, families and teachers flourishing during their time at ISQ! 

We welcomed several new staff members in the last few weeks and we are confident they will bring a lot to the school culture. We're looking forward to the new academic year and can't wait to see student lives transformed from the inside out.
