International Schools Consortium

International Schools Consortium (iSC) is a nonprofit organization that, since 1986, has offered excellent academic programs to meet the intellectual, physical, and emotional needs of students. iSC has six schools in China — in Chengdu, Qingdao, Wuhan, Wuxi, Tianjin, and Yantai — one school in the UAE, and helps to support various other educational initiatives globally. iSC is a multi-school program, enabling students and teachers to participate in system-wide programs where they can interact with others outside of their immediate school. Students compete in basketball, volleyball and soccer tournaments, as well as music and choral festivals, and Model United Nations (MUN) conventions.

Early Childhood Center

Our students in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten (ages 3-5) are given a bright start within our nuturing environment of security, caring teachers, and purpose driven learning. ISQ believes every child is a special person created with individual gifts, talents, and needs. Our Early Childhood Center (ECC) education is designed with a purpose - to grow and help our students discover their unique gifts and talents.

Our play based, guided exploration approach begins building the foundations of our students' critical thinking, comprehension, and social skills. On any given day as you walk by our classrooms, you will see our students making their imagination come to life, embracing newfound concepts, and collaborating with their classmates from different cultures. Students will learn to communicate and cooperate with others, sing new songs, play exciting content-driven games, share, laugh, and grow. All while loving to learn.

Co-Curricular

At ISQ we believe that co-curricular activities are an important part of education that extends beyond the classroom. Co-curricular activities provides motivation for learning, character building, physical growth and creativity while developing confidence and educating the whole child. Students are encouraged to participate and explore all opportunities that interest them.  Students who are involved in Co-curricular opportunities become more invested in the school experience, therefore increasing the opportunity for higher academic performance and social well-being.
