Be seen on campus- Virtually!!

Many of you are connecting with each other and the world via Zoom. Zoom has many features one that is a virtual background. I am sure most of the 4th graders have already figured this out!!!

ISQ has a handful of pictures for you to use for your zoom virtual background. Many of these pictures are fun and memorable. You may just want to keep them forever. You can browse and download the photos here: Zoom Photos

Know that you make our campus special. We look forward to seeing you on Zoom with your ISQ background and more importantly we look forward to seeing you back on campus in the future.

Continue to stay safe and connected,

Carl Post

What We Can Do to Stop the Spread of COVID-19: #3 Social Distancing

Social Distancing or Physical Distancing is keeping a 2-meter space between you & others in public places. It also means staying home when you are sick, and avoiding large gatherings during this critical time. In ISQ, we think of it as Physical Distancing, because physical distance does not mean social distance. During this time of physical distancing, we need to stay socially connected with loved ones to maintain our mental health.

As a school community, we need to practice physical distancing because when we are too close to someone who coughs or sneezes, we can inhale the droplets they spray into the air, which may carry viruses. In public places, and when we return to our campus, let’s give others the space (2 meters) they need. Remember, there is currently no vaccine against COVID-19, and people who don’t look sick can spread the virus.

Helpful Notes and Reminders

Updating Vaccine Records

Depending on your circumstance, the availability of your physician (pediatrician), or if your current area is safe, you can start looking into your options on how your kids can get the required and recommended vaccines based on WHO’s recommendations.

You can submit new or updated certificates of immunization to Nurse@isqchina.com during this HBL period. If you lost a vaccination certificate or want to be exempted, you can fill out and send the attached Lost Record Waiver and Vaccination Exemption Waiver. If you have any questions regarding vaccinations, please send our nurses at the e-mail above.

Re-Enrollment Begins Next Week

Next week, we’ll begin re-enrollment for our 25th school year! The process for re-enrollment will be nearly identical to last year, but it will look a little different as we go paperless.

Also, our Finance Office has begun preparing bus and lunch refunds for this school year’s leftover balances. While our finance team is preparing bus and lunch refunds, please clear any remaining outstanding tuition and fees.
