Final Grades for Quarter 3

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Quarter 4! Final grades for ECC and Elementary students will be accessed differently for Quarter 3. For parents with a child in ECC, we’re projecting to send you the final report card electronically late next week. Parents with a child in Elementary may access their child's final grades next Tuesday, April 7 on PowerSchool. Grades and comments have been updated in all Secondary classes for Quarter 3 as of last weekend, and Secondary parents and students are highly encouraged to review teachers’ comments in PowerSchool.

In lieu of our usual second semester Parent-Teacher Conferences, please contact your child’s teachers directly and/or the principals with questions you may have. Meetings can be scheduled, though please be flexible as available times may not be ideal for everyone since we are spread across different time zones.

Last quarter, we’ve put many measures in place in order to support students through their successes and struggles during online learning. We are continuing to work as a school and with iSC district leadership to address concerns as well as develop plans for adjustments to Quarter 4 and the beginning of next year. Please expect more information regarding specific adjustments in the coming weeks.

Thank you for your continued partnership with ISQ; we are stronger together as we navigate these challenging circumstances.

Blessings,

Principal Leadership Team

Stopping the Spread of COVID-19

Dear Parents,

As the virus has spread around the world in recent weeks, it’s good to remember that we can still have an impact on the spread of COVID-19. Please read this attachment from one of our Nurses, Aries Gamer, to learn more. Take time to discuss and model these practical steps with your child so we may all be prepared for resuming on-campus learning in due time.

Sincerely,

MAC Team

Helpful Notes and Reminders

Reminder - Spring Break Canceled

Spring break has been replaced with continued learning. Classes will continue from April 6-9 while Friday, April 10, will be a holiday in observance of Good Friday.

AP exams moving online

College Board’s most recent update (read full update here) informs us that they are supporting AP teachers and students with online resources (via AP Classroom) and shifting all testing so that students can take them online. Traditional on-site tests will no longer be offered this year; instead, students will take 45-minute online free-response exams.
